May the Forest be with You. Guided Forest Bathing in Shelby Park

  • Shelby Bottoms Nature Center 1900 Shelby Bottoms Greenway Nashville, TN, 37206 United States (map)

"Of the Moment, Be. At the Moment, Live. The Art of Remaining in the Present, Learn" -Yoda.

We couldn't help ourselves. Celebrate Star Wars Day (May the 4th) a different way with a guided nature connection walk. Not a Star Wars fan? No worries. This is really just an excuse to make a pun and connect with ourselves, nature, and the present moment. But truly, may the forest be with you... and with us all!

Forest bathing invites participants to slow down, engage their senses, and connect with nature and the present moment in a new way. Participants will be guided in a small area and move slowly through sensory invitations. This type of nature immersion has been shown to improve physical and mental health.

Meet promptly at 4pm at the Shelby Bottoms Nature Center. Ticket required.

This forest bathing experience will be guided by Sarah Champion of Forest Therapy Nashville, an experienced certified Forest Therapy Guide via the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy. Walk is not a nature identification experience nor a hike and is accessible to all levels of fitness. Twenty percent of revenue is donated back to Shelby Park.

Cost: $21 per person
